Density of Knowing
Density of Knowing is a large scale drawing of repetitive triangular forms of varying scale. The study conceptually supports the process of comprehension as having form and density, that emerges from an intellectual fog that simultaneously houses a multitude of ideas. The drawing also echoes the formal structure of the sculptural installation Weight of Light which it is was exhibited with.
Density of Knowing formed part of the solo show Weight of Light at St Mary’s Church York, which was hosted by the York Festival of Ideas 2019.
