Wire Studies - Bodies of Movement

These studies formed part of the Bodies of Movement exhibition at Ely Cathedral. They explore how repetitive form gives rise to distortion, error and mutation which consequently gives rise to new forms of a larger scale. Emergence and Stretch demonstrate a tension between the geometric and the organic, referencing the underlying code that drives natural systems.
